    You do fans a great service sharing David Schow's revelatory, witty and smart article.

    Fans of science-fiction/fantasy con history owe much gratitude to Schow, MFTV and barebones e-zine for this account and critique. (I only wish the gray ink of the paper scanned with better contrast--it wasn't easy for my middle-aged eyes to read this on my monitor.) Thanks for sharing it online for a wide audience.
