But I've bought a few back since then. I'm partial to that last batch of digest-sized issues and I still have the Yours Truly Jack the Ripper signed to me by Bloch. Those digest are going to be discussed in an upcoming column.Peter Enfantinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04317575598411394944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6672923492889685727.post-31553329638878318062010-10-11T16:24:24.186-07:002010-10-11T16:24:24.186-07:00I'm one of the collectors that went broke comp...I'm one of the collectors that went broke compiling a complete set of WEIRD TALES. I completed it in the early 1970's and then sold it a few years ago when I decided to take early retirement. I immediately regretted my action and set about rebuilding a set. An old friend sold me his bound copies from 1925 to 1954 and I'm happy with that since I consider the earlier issues to be almost unreadable. A great pulp.Walker Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16089880902426182100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6672923492889685727.post-36488626240190448912010-10-11T10:25:08.343-07:002010-10-11T10:25:08.343-07:00>>Please don't blame Margaret St. Clair ...>>Please don't blame Margaret St. Clair for Anthony Rud's "Ooze"<br /><br />Todd-<br />Thanks for the correction.
